So what’s the secret behind the aroma and the finger-licking flavor? It’s the flavor combinations in the traditional Jamaican Jerk Seasoning! So today we’ll teach you how to make your own Jamaican Jerk Seasoning and dial up the spice in your next meal…

Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon of Onion Powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder
- 2 Teaspoons of Cayenne Pepper (or finely diced Scotch Bonnet)
- 2 Teaspoons of Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon of Ground Allspice
- 2 Teaspoons of Salt
- 1 Teaspoon of Ground Black Pepper
- ½ Teaspoon of Red Pepper Flakes
- ½ Teaspoon of Cumin Powder
- ½ Teaspoon of Nutmeg
- ½ Teaspoon of Cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon of Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon of Dried Thyme

There is only one thing to do…mix all your ingredients together!
The next time you are looking for that Caribbean flavor, add your jerk seasoning and prepare to be amazed! You can use this seasoning as a marinade or while cooking for a spicy kick. You can store the seasoning in any storage container you have at hand.
